IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Each wig is custom coloured using real human hair, so some natural fading over time is normal and expected.
  • Lighter wig colours are more delicate. Lightening human hair invokes extra processing, so these wigs need extra gentle care.
  • Handle your wig with care. It's a handcrafted, luxury piece made to be loved and worn correctly 
  • Avoid sleeping, showering or swimming whilst wearing your wig to keep it looking its best and lasting longer.


WASHING

How often should I wash my wig? - Roughly every 30 wears, or whenever you notice product build-up.

Steps to washing your wig:

  1. Detangle - Start at the ends and gently work your way up using a wide-tooth comb or wig brush.
  2. Rinse - Run lukewarm water from the roots to the ends. Let it flow through - don't soak or swirl.
  3. Shampoo - Use a sulphate-free shampoo made for wigs. Gently lather without scrubbing.
  4. Rinse again - Be gentle, and avoid twisting or wringing the hair.
  5. Condition - Apply conditioner to the mid-lengths and ends only. Leave it on for 2-5 minutes, then rinse well.
  6. Towel-dry - Pat dry with a microfibre towel. Never rub or wring.


DRYING

  1. Pat dry with a microfibre towel - don't rub or wring.
  2. Place on a wig stand to keep its shape.
  3. Gently detangle with a wig brush/wide tooth comb, starting at the ends.
  4. Air-dry in a cool, shaded area - no direct heat or sunlight.
  5. Optional: Use a hairdryer on low heat with heat protectant.
  6. Wait until fully dry before styling or wearing.

 

STYLING & STORAGE

  • Use heat protectant spray before styling.
  • Keep heat below 180°C / 350°F to protect your wig.
  • Style gently - don't pull or tug on the lace or hair.
  • Store your wig upright or on a stand to keep it's shape.
  • Use only a soft wig brush/wide tooth comb to detangle and style.
