Refund policy

 

Maneique Bespoke Wigs – Returns & Exchanges Policy

At Maneique, each wig is crafted with care and expertise to meet your expectations. While we are confident you'll love your new hair, we understand that sometimes things may not be quite right.

 

Ready-to-Ship Wigs

We accept returns on ready-to-ship wigs within 14 days of you receiving your order, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The lace is uncut
  • The original tag is still attached
  • The wig is unworn, unstyled, and in its original condition and packaging

If these conditions are not met, the wig will not be eligible for a return or refund.


Customised & Bespoke Orders

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations (and guidance from the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills), bespoke or customised goods are exempt from cancellation rights. This includes any wig marked as Custom or created to your unique requirements.

However, at Maneique, we aim to be as accommodating as possible:

  • If you wish to cancel a customised item before production has started, we will issue a full refund.
  • If production has already begun, we reserve the right to retain part or all of your payment to cover costs already incurred.
  • If a customised item has been received and you wish to return it, please contact us within 14 working days. If we agree to accept the return, it must be received within 28 days of delivery, and all standard return criteria still apply.
  • Please note: Customised wigs with pre-cut lace at your request are non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances.

 

International Orders

We understand that international shipping may take longer. If you’re overseas, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the wig to notify us of your intention to return. We allow reasonable extra time for the return to reach us.

 

Return Process

To initiate a return, please email contact@maneique.com with your order number, reason for return, and clear photos if needed. Once your return is approved, you’ll be provided with return instructions.

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We recommend using a tracked service for peace of mind


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, please allow up to 14 days for us to process your refund. Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

 

Faulty or Incorrect Items

If you believe you have received an incorrect item or there is an issue on arrival, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos so we can assist you promptly.

For any concerns relating to the quality, construction, or performance of your wig over time, we kindly ask that you notify us within 60 days of receipt. This allows us the best opportunity to assess the piece and offer appropriate support or resolution where applicable.

We will always carefully review each case and, where a genuine fault is identified, provide a suitable resolution.

Please note:

  • As each wig is handmade and bespoke, slight variations in colour, density, and styling are to be expected and do not constitute a fault.
  • Any alterations or customisations made after purchase (including the addition of hair or third-party modifications) may affect the structure, longevity, and performance of the piece, and may limit our ability to assess or guarantee the original product.
  • Concerns raised outside of the stated timeframes may not be eligible for assessment or resolution.
